Why The High Performing Teams Programme?

 

This tailor-made programme takes a systematic approach to help teams identify their current issues and challenges and understand where they want to be. This takes them on a journey where the teams will identify and own the practical steps to get them there, and help them make tangible step changes in their performance.


Our approach to working with teams is to adapt the programme, when needed, to meet specific needs.  It is aimed at small to large businesses, and we will work you in different ways in order to personalise the experience and gain commitment.  This includes working at the level of task, process and feelings, and also at the level of business strategy and personal behaviour.  This inclusive approach ensures a longer-term impact on individual and organisational performance.

Programme Objectives

 

By the end of the programme team members will have identified how to work most effectively together by:

  1. Gaining a better understanding of the contribution each individual can make to the team.

  2. Developing a vision for the future of the team and organisation.

  3. Reviewing the ways of working in the team and identifying any changes required, such as ground rules, values and feedback

  4. Identifying any changes required in the teams structure, processes and behaviours.

  5. Identifying the key business or leadership issues facing the team.

  6. Preparing a plan to implement the actions agreed.

  7. Creating an environment which tackles the issues and creates real fun and collaboration.

Format and Delivery

  • Before designing any intervention, we conduct on site interviews over 1 - 2 days. We spend the time collecting data and identifying the key needs, opportunities and issues as seen by the team and those reporting to the team.

  • The programme is typically delivered over 2 – 3 days, either consecutively or as individual days no more than one month apart.

  • Additional coaching available to support the process if not run as consecutive days.

  • 4 – 16 participants.

  • The programme will be delivered via inputs from the leadership coaches in the main group, as well as breakout sessions for individual, pairs and small group work. 

  • Delivered face to face or online.

Most companies recognise that productive teamwork is essential to the success of an organisation but getting there can require some focus. The Together Programme helps to provide the impetus and direction, leading to collaborative, productive teams and long-term performance improvement.
